The image of a woman in ao dai is no longer strange in Vietnamese artworks. However, to show the softness of that woman, Bui Ket put her in the familiar scene of a tea table in the Northern house. Lacquer material also helps Bui Ket convey the ancient beauty tinged with time often found in three-room and two-wing houses.
