Introduction

One of the famous art works of the artist Dinh Cong Dat is the series of negative Buddhist faces that resonate in hoome country and abroad. He has carvedthe  Buddha statues when they are in the yang (convex) and the yin (concave) that made a new, changed and unique to his own artistic style as well as for the contemporary fine arts of Vietnam. Buddhism is a common subject of many Vietnamese artists in particular and Asia in general who are interested in, and it has become a great inspiration in his art works. For the artist Dinh Cong Dat, he has transformed his Buddhist devotion into Buddha statues with various levels of emotion and nuances to enrich the variety of distinctive sculptures in the Vietnam fine arts.
