With the hands of a sorcerer, a painter, a sculptor, Dinh Cong Dat has expressed his artist in a liberal and multilingual ways. Outside the world of insects, he highly appreciated the beautiful of human and in the development of the contemporary Vietnamese fine arts, Dinh Cong Dat is one of the first conceptual artists in Vietnam. Only with simple materials such as composite or old newspaper, and the number 1212, Dinh Cong Dat has enrolled his reputation in various domestic and foreign exhibitions such as in the USA, China, Korea, Japan, France… He performs the sculptures in the context of Eastern Asia cultural space, making viewers feel the familiar spirit blending with religious factors. The image of sitting meditation lady is also a way that the sculptor Dinh Cong Dat exploits deeper the spiritual world of human. The colors he mainly used are dark and traditional colors that make the luxurious and mysterious feelings.
