Watching the painting “Dance” the viewer feels like standing in front of a stage where dancer are performing, offering viewers the essence of the work they are doing. The picture uses only white and dark gray, make the space to be more illusory and strangely surreal. Perhaps this is one of the few paintings by Nguyen Trong Tai that uses a monochrome palette and selects two colors white and black to create a space of art that is deep, attractive and virtual.
