Dao Hai Phong is one of the most prominent artist of Vietnamese fine arts in the renovation period. He mainly draws the landscape with a style that overcomes the symbolic description and colors to touch the human’s deep memory. The scenery in his paintings with yellow as the dominant color evokes a dreamy, romantic and poetic mood. With colorful melodies, river houses or ferryboats and peaceful waterfronts, all have created a very unique style of Dao Hai Phong.  Although in many paintings, the yellow light shining from the window without a shadow of people, we still feel the warmth there, we feel the anxiety and immortality light that people lit from the windows.
