Prayer is a familiar action for devout Buddhists. They have solid and absolute belief in the religion that they devout. Therefore the artist who had a strong inspiration for Buddhism put this beautiful image in his paintings as a tribute to the faith and religion of mankind. Remaining the familiar lacquer material but the viewer feel his paintings show a unique beauty, the image of people praying with secret thoughts as a reminder of aspiration for pursuit of happiness. With this work, Trinh Quoc Chien has touched the depths into the souls of every Asian people in the relationship between religion and life.
