Introduction

The work "Touch" by Bui Thanh Thuy depicts many different emotions in one frame. Vision, smell, taste, touch and hearing; depending on the viewing angle that it changes into different feelings. It can be an eye-contact with the beauty, the nose with a scent from memories past, the tongue and the bittersweetness of a dish, the ear to a mesmerizing song or a skin touch with your lover. All are reproduced by gentle streaks of acrylic on silk material, creating a very natural flow of emotions. And it will change from time to time depending on the period that we feel. The invisible sensations are now tangible again, becoming a "taste" that one can taste on the tip of the tongue.
